The Welcoming Congregation: Parking Lot & Sidewalk
Evangelist... Do you sometimes meet people in the
parking lot or on the sidewalk as you are on your way
into church? Greet them with a smile. Introduce yourself
to people you do not know.

Announcements:
SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES ARE AVAILABLE FOR ALL AGES
FOLLOWING MORNING WORSHIP:
Help yourself to coffee and snacks in the gathering
room on your way to a Sunday School class!
WEDNESDAY: The Women’s Wednesday Morning Bible
Study will meet from 9:30--11:30 a.m. in the church
basement. All women are invited to attend.
WEDNESDAY EVENING: The Men’s Promise Keeper
Group will meet at 6:30 in the Annex. Ladies’ Women
of Faith Bible Study will also meet at 6:30 p.m..
Choir Rehearsal will be held in the sanctuary at 7:30
p.m.
All who like to sing are invited to join our choir.
SUNDAY EVENING: Hand Chime Rehearsal will be held at
6:00 p.m. in the
church basement.

Volunteers are needed to
spend time with veterans at the Hollidaysburg Veterans
Home. To volunteer or get more information call the

HELP NEEDED:
HABITAT FOR HUMANITY has been in the process
building a home at 1st Street and Cherry Avenue for
several years. The home is near completion and a low
income deserving family is anxiously waiting to move
in. However, donations are badly needed to finish the
home. Please consider taking one of the collection box
homes found on the communion table in the Gathering room
and filling it with loose change (paper money and checks
also accepted), and return it to the church by September
20th. Thank You.
